If You are an Airtable User, You'll Want to Read This

Airtable just got acquired by Bending Spoons.

If you know anything about Bending Spoons, they are going to gut the company (that’s their right, of course) and raise prices like CRAZY. They’ve done it before - it’s their playbook.

If you aren’t thinking about getting out of Airtable - you should be.

We actually did this last week (total coincidence) and had ZERO days of business disruption.

Just this transition will save us roughly $50,000 a year, plus enable us to eat a bunch of other SaaS bills in the coming weeks (Zapier, Make, many others…while providing a platform for better customer experience).

So tomorrow at 0915 PST I’m going live on my Twitter, with our President of AI to explain exactly how we did it, and what our system looks like now (Postgres + Custom Front Ends).
